British Science Week

Northern House School Wokingham took part in the Annual British Science Week celebration 2018

Promoted by the British Science Association, the annual British Science Week aims to celebrate all sciences and their importance in our everyday lives. It provides an opportunity for people of all ages across the UK to take part in science, engineering and technology events and activities.

Our students took part in 5 different workshops organised by the Science Department with the help of the British Science Society and Science Wizards from London. With this year’s theme being “exploration and discovery”, we’ve hand-picked some out-of-class activities that were truly enjoyed by students and staff.

The content of science as we sometime think of it, is a record of man’s accomplishment. It is a kind of history of what man has achieved. It’s major value lies in that we can use it to improve man’s thought and action in the future.

All future scientists are in our school labs  now! What a fun way to engage and inspire them today!
