Anxiety and Depression in Children
A child’s mental wellbeing is as important as their physical health. Often young people suffering from mental health issues, such as depression and anxiety, don’t get the expert help required soon enough, whilst it can be difficult for a parent or carer to identify when a child’s behaviour is related to a mental health condition. Early intervention is vital in reducing the likelihood of a condition developing into something more serious.
oung people face many pressures in modern life. Bullying, exam stress, peer pressure, social media burdens and family breakdown are common place. As a result, they may secretly struggle emotionally, engaging in unhealthy behaviours as a result.
