Valentine's Artwork (10th February 2017)

Our KS3 pupils have been enjoying making gifts this week, in the run up to Valentine’s Day. They have been showing their creativity through the exploration of different techniques, using porcelain pens and paint.

Some pupils made more traditional 'love' themed mugs for their Mum's or loved ones, while others explored techniques that resemble Mondrian or Jackson Pollock. One Year 9 student even chose to use the internet to find a Japanese translation for 'Love Life' and his name, which he then carefully copied onto his mug.

What a great way to end this half-term, it's always great to see the boys enjoying their artwork – working together, creating and developing new ideas, and problem-solving together where necessary too!
