Connor's Amazing Art Achievement (16th June 2017)

Today, we had a great opportunity to see Connor looking really happy and proud of his achievements as he showed his GCSE Art work all neatly laid out.

Mrs Faluyi, our Art teacher, had a few words to say about Connor's achievements:  "I am very proud of him for pushing himself, keeping going even when it seemed tough, and for producing some great coursework and exam work. Connor has been a pleasure to teach and will be greatly missed within the Art department in particular. However, we really wish him well as he moves on to attend a local college to further his studies in Art and Design next year. We were delighted when Connor was successful at interview earlier in the year, where he showed his coursework and the college gave him really positive feedback."

Everyone who has seen his work have been really impressed. Younger students have also been inspired by what they can achieve in coming years, they all commented on how great the work was. Connor has been a good role model for younger students in the Art department.

As it was the end of term, Connor also enjoyed getting his school shirt signed by staff and students who wrote their goodbye messages and notes of encouragement for the future.

Well done Connor!
