End of Term Projects

20 July 2017 (by Northern House School (Wokingham))

Our KS3 pupils have been finishing off their Science projects

As end of term approaches, our Key Stage 3 pupils have been finishing off their Science project on Dinosaurs.

During the project, pupils have learnt some very interesting facts about the Tyrannosaurus Rex. Including: it was one of the most dangerous and biggest meat eating dinosaur, it weighed more than an airplane, its head was as big as a kitchen table, they had 60 teeth (some were as big as bananas) and when a T-Rex lost a tooth, it grew a new one!

One of the pupils even said – ‘it might be fun to see a live Tyrannosaurus Rex’, but I would not want to meet one. Would you?

Also during their Science lessons this term, KS3 pupils have also been learning about 'Why cells are important?'.
