Consultation to open a residential facility on the site of Northern House School (Wokingham) - Now Closed (12th June 2017)
The Trust has received four responses to the consultation paper. All four were very supportive, pointing out the need for more high quality provision in the region. The respondents stressed the requirement to ensure that pupils were safe and fully benefited from a 24-hour curriculum. Three local authorities were pleased that such provision may reduce the need for them to consider alternative residential provision at much greater expense in the independent sector. The Trust Board will now submit a formal application to proceed to the Regional Schools Commissioner.
